Fiddleheads are the tasty young Ostrich Fern spirals that are in season for only a few weeks each spring. Our ever-evolving menu includes the best local and seasonal ingredients we can find, which is why you won’t find a fiddlehead on your plate in September or a strawberry on your plate in January!
We take the season’s best and create a menu that puts a contemporary spin on American bistro fare, but Fiddlehead Café offers more than just fresh, diverse menu items. Our Cheese menu offers 22 different types of cheese from around the world. They are served individually or you can make your own cheese flight. Wine Spectator has honored us with an Award of Excellence in 2008 for the second yesr in a row, and with our extensive wine list of more than 350 bottles, (kept in a temperature controlled wine cellar) 30 wines by the glass or in flights, and knowledgeable staff, you’re sure to find the perfect wine to complement your meal.
Conveniently located in the heart of Chicago’s Lincoln Square neighborhood, we want you to enjoy food and wine as much as we do. Our cozy dining room is the perfect place for a quiet, leisurely meal or a bottle of wine and a cheese flight after a show. When the weather permits we open the large windows on Lincoln Ave giving an outdoor feeling to the entire south dining room.
